Eliud Kipchoge close to victory in the 2018 London Marathon
Eliud Kipchoge (Kenya) won the 2018 London Marathon Men's Elite event for the third year in succession with a time of 2 hours 4 mins and 17 seconds.
In September 2018, at Berlin, he would go on to break the world record for a marathon with a time of 2 hours 1 min and 39 seconds. He is "The Running Man!"
Tola Shura Kitata (ETH) came second with a time of 2 hours 4 mins and 49 seconds.
